Referendum on Blasphemy
Thirty–seventh Amendment of the Constitution(Repeal of offence of publication or utterance of blasphemous matter) Bill 2018. The proposal of the referendum was on whether or not to delete 'blasphemous,' from Article 40.6.1˚ of the Constitution.
The proposed amendment to the Constitution was put to the people on Friday 26 October 2018. The proposal was passed by the people.

The Commission has submitted their report on the referendum on blasphemy to the Minister of Housing, Planning and Local Government. As soon as it has been laid in the Houses of the Oireachtas, a copy will be available to read here.
